Grace Church will use an online database called Easy Tithe. This system will provide you with secure access to your contribution records and allows you to make donations online. Easy Tithe provides all of the security for the system. Easy Tithe is used by churches throughout the country.
There are two aspects of security related to the system. First, Easy Tithe provides data security using the latest technology and best practices. The following statement is from their security documentation: "Easy Tithe uses 128 Bit SSL technology for data transactions. All personal, credit card, & bank information is submitted using 128 bit encryption. There is no stronger form of protection than this encryption and by doing this, we eliminate the possibility that someone might "tap" the line and extract your personal data from it. 128-bit SSL encryption has never been broken and according to RSL Labs, it would take a "trillion-trillion years" to crack the code using today's technology."
Neither EasyTithe, nor Grace Church will electronically store credit card information.
When you create your account, you will determine your own login id and password. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. You can also change your password at any time.
Please help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see. Neither Easy Tithe, nor a Grace Church representative will ever call you to ask for your login information.
